The position as Marketing lead for Finland aims to grow our positions in the country as per our Vision 2030. The role covers the categories Chocolate (incl. Refreshment Beverages), Bakery and Meals.

Working with cross-functional and Nordics teams, you implement a portfolio strategy that is aligned with the brand vision to drive sustainable growth. You support profit and loss management and future business development plans and objectives including new product development and platform opportunities.

Position reports into the Marketing Cluster lead Sweden/Finland, and you will be a part of the leadership team for Finland.

How you will contribute

Working with other internal stakeholders, you will recommend the brand portfolio strategy and priorities to enable consumer-centric brand portfolio growth.

You will develop annual plans, setting objectives and allocating resources. In addition, you will build recommendations for integrated commercial plans, develop and secure strong execution of the marketing plans that deliver on revenue and profit forecasts, and share objectives. Based on your deep consumer insights and brand positioning, you will develop and implement integrated marketing communications and 360-degree campaigns.

Main Responsibilities

Business Planning cross categories

  • P&L accountability and responsibility
  • Leading situational analysis, strategy development & recommending growth plans for the portfolio
  • Support building financial bridges & aligning growth targets with sales Co
  • Presentation and alignment of plans with senior stakeholders
  • Inspiring the sales team about the plans
  • Providing marketing input for monthly forecast review meetings i.e LDR
  • Responsible for A&C management and tracking

Integrated Marketing Communication

  • Adapting and/or Developing activations and communications in close partnership with the Marabou and Daim Equity Keepers located in Sweden
  • Building Media plan with the local media agency
  • Leading the discussion and building the plan with the Ice Hockey Federation

Launches (NPDs and PPA) & Projects

  • Securing sustainable business cases to drive growth & margin
  • Aligning strategy and recommendation with other Nordic markets
  • Ensuring solid launch plan – marketing and trade activations
  • Setting launch KPI’s and tracking in market results

Management

  • Direct management of 1 Brand Manager Finland

  • Previous experience from people management and working with consumer behaviour, preferably in the consumer goods sector in a matrix environment
  • Robust marketing background
  • Managing business objectives beyond brand and budget
  • Analytics and creativity—a balance of commercial and strategic acumen
  • Leading and influencing teams
  • Communicating effectively, verbally and in writing, and executive presentation skills
  • Fluency in English and Finnish, written and spoken
