We’re looking for an Accounts Assistant to join the Score Group team based at our facility in Paradise, Canada.

About the role
We are looking for accounting assistant to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the role will include working closely with the finance team to assist in AP, AR, and other accounts functions. They shall be responsible for timely, accurate and efficient posting of information.

This is a great opportunity for a candidate with previous experience in an accounting environment, who has a good understanding of accounting processes. The ideal candidate will have good organization skills and strong attention to detail.

Primary responsibilities
- Matching purchase orders to supplier invoices
- Data entry related to accounts receívable and accounts payable
- Provide support to Finance Team
- Coding bank entries into accounting system
- Adhere to financial accounting procedures and Score Group policies
- Reporting directly to Financial Controller
Qualifications
- College diploma in Business Administration or equivalent
Experience
- Previous experience in accounting desirable but not essential
Behaviours and skills
- Effective communication skills, wr¡tten and oral
- Ability to work as a team member and take own initiative
- Great attention to detail
- Experience in Microsoft programs
