What you would do as our Product Owner
As a member of R&D group in ASSA ABLOY you will be working with Teams of highly skilled engineers delivering new, group wide wireless lock platform.
You will closely collaborate with Product Manager, system architects, other platform teams and group's divisions. You will act proactively to mitigate risks, remove impediments to help your Team deliver on time and with right quality.
- Act as Technical Product Owner
- Be part of technical discussions with internal stakeholders on understanding and defining their needs
- Managing Team's backlog
- Keep strong understanding of developed solutions, requirements, support issues and other technical and business aspects
- Support Team members in project execution according to our agile Way of Working
- Cooperate with other Product Owners/Project Leaders & Product Managers, also in different geographical locations
The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who:
- has strong engineering background in firmware development to be part of technical discussions and problem solving
- has at least 3 years of previous Project Leader/Technical Leader/Product Owner/System Architect experience in a multi-site environment
- has strong communication skills in English towards all levels of the organization worldwide
- has entrepreneurial mindset, natural curiosity to innovate and develop new ideas
- can explain business value and technical aspects of new solutions to, both, tech and non-tech audience
- is a strong team player, loves working with people and is always ready to both help and ask for help when needed
- shares information and knowledge openly and proactively
- enjoys working in teams with a culture of freedom and responsibility
- shares our belief in lean and agile values, by being motivated, focused, taking initiatives, and eager to learn
- has Proven track-record of delivering on your commitments
In this position, traveling to our other sites will be required.
